But you can find more for your money in other less trendy areas. I'd rent there again if I could still afford it.Pros: The first thing you notice about Plaza Point is that is is sort of round. Therefore each of its 99 units has a unique floor plan and lots of floor space. Many of the walls are at an angle. Each apartment, from one bedroom on up, has a little entry way. Bedroom closets span one entire wall.Garage parking is available and that is a big plus on The Plaza, a hot Kansas City area that resembles a minature midwestern Manhattan. (ie: Parking is hard to find on the street.)However, that leads me to the cons.Plaza Point maintains its image as a good buy by keeping rent and parking just a few dollars below the nearby competition. Sometimes instead of raising rent, they hike parking or the cost of washers and dryers.It also lacks some of the amenities of comptetition. No workout room, no discounts at the nearby health club, no community room.Repairs are slow. Sound travels through the walls. The heat and air is blown through vents like central air, but it is some sort of steam-based system that they control. That means you have to wait for them to switch air to heat in the winter before you can access it in your unit.
