Apartment Review for Casa Loma Apartments - Kansas City, MO

I had just about given up on living near the plaza when I found this apartment complex and moved in July 2009. They've remodeled the apartments so they are nice and new inside...new carpet, cabinets, appliances. They also put in a nice big closet in the bedroom which is rare for older apartments to have. I have a new dishwasher. They don't have washers and dryers in the unit but they do have them in the building and are always available, even on wknds. The management is terrific. After reading reviews on many apartments I thought every apt management was bad, but I was very surprised by how friendly and prompt Casa Loma's staff is. All utilities are included which is awesome. I pay $760. I love the location and being able to walk to the plaza and to the library and to Loose Park. Parking in the garage is extra $60/month. I would say the one thing I don't love about the apartment is the window unit AC. It works really well but can occasionally make a lot of noise. The people inside the building are always very quiet...noise has never been a problem. They are in the process of remodeling the front porch...thank goodness...and so it will look that much more awesome when it's done! Check it out!
