Apartment Review for Old Westport Apartments - Kansas City, MO

Disgusting... the landlord never took care of the place. Exterior stairway lighting was dark at night, which was definitely unsafe considering the location. The HVAC was unreliable. The pool was filthy and always full of debris (the landlord cleaned the pool once a year, would leave it empty with no water, it would then fill with debris, and he would then fill the trash filled pool with water). Exterior HVAC units were laid up against the side of the building and appeared to be very unstable. Finally, I believe he broke Kansas City building code by constructing attic level studio apartments. Disgusting place... simply disgusting.
