Apartment Review for Walnut Creek Apartments - Kansas City, MO

I've lived here for several years and will be moving very soon, the initial management team was awsome they were professional, they responded quickly to maitnenance issues. The pools in the summers were prestine. Now the management is horrific, they do not return calls, maitnenance may or may not fix what needs to be fixed. There were things that I've been asking to be fixed for 2 years and still have not been fixed and the pools are infestations of every germ and fungus you can think of. This summer I didnt swim because the year before I was in the 911 room with severe bacteria infections from the pool. There are cars broken into regularly and the only time you see patrol is after a few cars have been broken into, and then you only see them for 3 to 4 days after the incident and thats it. If you do decide to move into the apartments I will say the the trees are beautiful so try to get an apartment close to the trees. I know these apartments were beautiful in their prime and they still could be brought back to life and be worth the $800 or so per month but I believe that the current ownership is too cheap or just don't care. It's a shame that they spend thousands of dollars to make the lansacape beautiful but nothing to make the apartments themselves just as beautiful and safe. So look long and hard before you deside to move to Walnut Creek. I wish you the best in apartment search
